🪄 Two of Wands 🪄

November 21st – November 27th – Lewellyn’s Classical Tarot deck

The Two of Wands depicts a man standing on the edge of a tower. He’s looking over a body of water towards a castle in the distance. In his left hand he’s holding earths globe, in his right he holds one of the wands. Having the world LITERALLY in the palm of his hands shows the opportunity for growth and expansion. But he’s only holding onto one wand while the other is off to the side, showing that he hasn’t made up his mind on starting his journey. His red cloak symbolizes courageous energy and a passion for life. Far off in the distance lies the castle, which is his goal destination. It represents stability, protection and abundance. The castle also shows us that the journey ahead will be difficult but achieving the goal will be worth it in the end. Now moving on to the body of water! As a river (flowing stream), it signifies being aware of your conscious flow. But looking at it as just being water in general, it signifies your subconscious thoughts and emotions.

Is it a Castle or Tower? 🏰

The most popular or common description of the Two of Wands suggests that the man is standing on top of his castle. That doesn’t resonate with me though. Why would someone, who already has their own castle, risk the challenges of the journey for a different castle?? Sure there can be motivating factors like a bigger castle. But because he has one wand in and one wand out suggesting his hesitancy, I believe he is only on a tower. It’s something that is man-made, unreliable and built on a weak foundation. Who wouldn’t want to leave that?! He’s hesitant to leave the familiar feeling but knows a Tower moment is approaching. These are just my thoughts on the castle/tower symbolics but I’m super curious to see what you guys resonate with!

She’s back…

I realize I made one, single blog post and then disapeared for two months. I let myself slip into my dark cloud and I’ve just been absent from life in general. But I’m back now!! I still have goals here and I’m not about to just let them die without a giving them a proper chance.

ROUND TWO! I’m so excited to get the ball rolling again and I’ll be posting the Tarot Card of the Week tomorrow , November 21st 🥰

There will be one Tarot Card of the Week post on every Sunday. 💡Also, I’m taking suggestions on new content for anyone interested in reading tarot or having their cards read. 💡

Tarot Card of the Week

⚔️ Page of Swords ⚔️

-September 26th – October 2nd -Lewellyn’s Classical Tarot deck

A young man is standing on top of a hill with his back turned to the ledge. He is wielding a sword, pointing it up towards the sky with his eyes closed. This suggests to me that he’s going in “blind” or fully putting his trust into his intuition. He also shows no fear of possibly falling off the ledge. The clouds in the sky symbolize knowledge which is something the suite of swords is closely associated with.

The Page of Swords is such an exciting card to draw for the week because it indicates new ideas and plans for the future! And if you’re anything like me, fantasying about your ideal future is pure motivation to set some things in motion. It’s important to remember that the page is the baby of the court cards. No one is expecting experience and skill to be brought to the table at this point. Being the baby also means mistakes are going to happen. It’s about how you pick yourself back up and progress!

“Exploring new ways of thinking, learning or communicating.”

Intuitive Tarot by Brigit Esselmont

In tarot, the suite of swords is masculine and forceful, as opposed to being feminine and passive like the suite of cups. I think this is our sign for this week to put action behind our thoughts of our future. There’s no standing around and watching our dreams pass us by. We got mountains to climb! When it comes to new ways of communication and self expression, this part really hit home for me this week. When I drew the Page of swords the only question on my mind was What Message Needs To Be Shared. In my personal life I have re-ignited my passion for reading and writing. Pair that with trying to find a creative outlet that can possibly bring in side profit and here I am… creating my very first blog. I’m learning a new way of expressing myself just like the Page of Swords suggests. Now is the time to take a moment, close your eyes and let your intuition guide you.
